Ahead of Handmade Cinema’s screening of The Jungle Book at Burton Street, the team visited Walkley Carnegie Library to host a Jungle Animals craft morning. The mini residents of Walkely (and their parents) were invited to handcraft some giant jungle animals, including snakes, butterflies, insects, frogs and more, which made up the scenery at the final screening.
We also had assistance from the Burton Street Clients, who made music, rain sticks, a palm tree and several large jungle animals. And Hillsborough Rainbows and Brownies made some beautiful printed fabrics for our jungle elephants.
Previous Jungle Book workshops have included print making at The Montgomery in October 2014.
